Coach Ellis
My name is Leslie Ellis I am the Director of the Farmerettes and Southern Belles Drill Teams.
I graduated with my B.A in Dance and a minor in Education, at Texas Woman`s University. When working with others I focus on expanding the knowledge of dance, art and creative process. Teaching is a privilege and a job that I see requires attention, skill and patience. When showing movements of the body one must expand one’s mind in a sense of openness and broadening their horizons. I believe my philosophy is focusing on creating a safe environment for children to learn and expand their knowledge of art and movement in their bodies. I also believe that when teaching you must create a set amount of rules and regulations so you can create a safe environment for all artist to magnify their horizon.
