- New Pre-K Students: In order to determine eligibility for the 2020-2021 school year, we ask that you complete the Farmersville ISD Pre-kindergarten Qualification form. Each student needs a qualification form completed in order to be enrolled in FISD. Once your student is approved for enrollment, you will be required to complete the enrollment process via our Parent Portal here.

NEW Incoming Kindergarten - 12th Grade Students: New student enrollment is a process intended for new students who have never been enrolled in FISD; including incoming Pre-Kindergarten students and Kindergarten students who did not attend Tatum Elementary School for Pre-Kindergarten. You may begin the new student enrollment process online via the Parent Portal here.

Required Documents: Required documents can be uploaded as part of the new student enrollment process or send them as email attachments to your student's campus secretary. If you don't have a scanner or a means to digitize your documents, please bring your documents to your student's campus to be scanned and submitted.
- Proof of Residency (utility bill, contract of purchase or lease of home)
- Original birth certificate (copies are NOT accepted)
- Social Security Card
- Up-to-Date Immunization Record
- Driver’s License of Parent/Guardian
- Legal Documents (if applicable)
- Disability Documents (if applicable)
- Parent Portal: Once you have created an account and are logged into the Parent Portal, please follow all directions and prompts to input information or review information. Once you have completed a section, click the save button. You cannot continue on to the next section until you have entered all the required information in a valid format. If you are not able to complete the required information or upload the required documents, click "Save for Later" and return at a later time to complete your student's registration.
Once you have completed the online new student enrollment process, uploaded the supporting documents, your campus will issue you a Parent Portal ID for each student you successfully enrolled. You can use the portal ID to add your child(ren) to your account.
WAIT…you are not finished. After you add your student(s) to your account and verified your email address, you will need to log back into the portal to complete the forms located in the New Student Enrollment Part 2. You will find this folder under the Student Data Maintenance section of the portal.
- We DO NOT give Parent Portal id details out over the phone. This is required to ensure total compliance with FERPA laws and to protect your student’s privacy.
- If you leave Parent Portal before finishing your student's registration, a Resume Registration button is displayed allowing you to continue where you left off.
This process should be completed for your student to receive their Middle School or High School schedule.

- Saturday, August 15 -- 9am-1pm
- Tuesday, August 18 -- 11am-5pm

Registration for TRANSFER STUDENTS:
We are pleased that you are considering Farmersville Independent School District as an educational option for your child. Farmersville ISD is steeped in tradition, pride, and unity, and we fight to provide every student with the foundation to fulfill their potential so they will have the opportunity and confidence to dream big. The following items are required before the transfer committee will review and consider the transfer application. The district’s superintendent of schools or his designee has final authority on all transfer approvals. Upon approval, the annual tuition payment of $250 per student ($500 maximum per family) must be paid in full prior to student enrollment. Please return the following items to the Farmersville ISD Administration Building located at 501A Highway 78 N, Farmersville, Texas 75442:
1) Completed Student Transfer Request Application
2) Attendance records for the prior twelve months from the previous district
3) Discipline records for the prior twelve months from the previous district
4) Most recent report card from the previous district
5) Most recent STAAR Report Card (available from https://txparentportal.emetric.net/
